Thanks to all who attended our event on Saturday entitled ’12 Years to Save the Planet’. We had a great turnout and a large number of project groups formed. The download from the day will be assembled over the next two weeks and published here.
Dr Neil Jennings of the Grantham Institute for Climate Change and the Environment gave a timely talk about the risks of exceeding 1.5 degrees of global warming, and the benefits of addressing climate change, demonstrating that there are multiple ‘co-benefits’ including public health and social justice.
The full presentation is available below, as is Ealing Transition’s crowd-sourced local plan, and Mary Horesh’s inspiring case study about eliminating plastic waste at Fielding primary school.
