Join us for our Community Fayre on 11th October!

For the past three years, our big annual event has been our Re-skilling Day, and we’ve been delighted with its success.

This year’s event continues the tradition established by Re-skilling Day, but, in keeping with Transition goals, also opens it to our thriving community businesses.

For our new Community Fayre,  we are teaming up with Ealing Mums in Business, so as well as learning new skills, you will be able to engage with and support the local economy. There will be lots of fantastic things to do, learn, buy and eat.

More details soon: for now please note the date: 11th October, 13:30 to 17:00, St. Mary’s Polygon, W5 5RH.

See you at the fayre!

Ealing Transition Film!

Ealing Transition has made a short film with the kind help of the University of West London; it documents a year of activities, from our 2nd Re-skilling Day, to activity at the Orchard and Allotment, and the launch of Edible Ealing. Watch it here first!

Re-Skilling Day Workshop Facilitators

We had over 150 people through the doors on Re-Skilling Day 2013, who took away new skills and fresh inspiration! Thanks for coming!

We’d also like to thank everyone who made the day possible: our tireless organisers, the front desk helpers, the people who made and served the food, the church for use of its facilities, and those who set-up before, and swept-up afterwards!

Of course the day would have been nothing without our wonderful Workshop Facilitators, who gave up their time and offered their skills for free: cheers!

We’ve now got a little page dedicated to them, so if there was a workshop you attended, and would like to know more, or if there’s one you missed out on, that’s the place to head to find out how you can contact them.

And thanks again, everyone!
