Sunday 5th June, 7.30pm
We hope you can join us for a screening of Ethiopia Rising, followed by refreshments and discussion. The film tells the story of the phenomenal environmental transformation of a nation told through the experience of one man, Aba Hawi, who mobilised an entire community to regenerate the surrounding hillsides, and in so doing saved his village from certain extinction.
After the film screening, there will be an opportunity to reflect on the film’s messages with others and consider varied ways that communities can help themselves, considering possibilities within the Ealing area.
Venue: St Mary’s Church, St Mary’s Road, Ealing W5 5RH.
Entry is free, but we will ask for donations after the film to help us cover costs.
