Sunday 18th January 7:30pm. Film Showing: Voices of Transition
Global environmental trends – climate change, peak oil and food insecurity are forcing us to confront problems with our industrial agricultural system. Powered by the conviction that these crises can be a major catalyst for positive change, ‘Voices in Transition’ casts a spotlight on the ‘Transition Town’ movement, introducing inspiring stories from France, England and Cuba.
Run time is 65 mins: you can read more and watch a trailer at http://voicesoftransition.org/ As usual, the showing takes place at St Mary’s Church, St Mary’s Road, Ealing W5 5AW. Entry is free, but we will ask for donations after the film to help us cover screening costs. After the screening, there will be an opportunity to explore the film’s messages over cakes and hot drinks.
