Saturday 19th September: St Mary’s Road Lawn Festival

Join us at the lawn festival for food, live music, arts and crafts and family fun at St Mary’s Church, St Mary’s Road W5 5RH on Saturday 19th September between 12.30 and 5.30pm. The festival showcases local businesses and community groups and runs from Thursday 17th to Sunday 20th.

Both Ealing Transition and Edible Ealing will have stalls at the festival and a special ‘guess the weight of the pumpkin’ competition.

Question Time Update

Thanks to all for the quality and breadth of questions you submitted for our Pre-Election Question Time event. Unfortunately we have not been able to use all of them, but the questions we have selected will cover many of the areas you have identified as concerns.

We hope you will all come along and support the event, and raise your points during the debate. There will also be a chance to have an informal chat with the candidates after over tea and cakes. We look forward to a lively evening’s discussion!

Mind Food: Call for Volunteers

mindfoodMindFood is a community interest company that helps people to recover from mental health issues by  growing and selling food. Produce is sold into local communities – as well as our very own Edible Ealing veg box scheme.

The company is setting up a new sensory market garden in Ealing and has secured a new site at Cleverly Crescent, just north of Hangar Lane gyratory. They are looking for volunteers both to help set up the site, and ongoing. If you would like to help, please contact edharkness@mindfood.org.uk. More details at http://www.mindfood.org.uk
