Rupert Read, former Ealing resident and Green councillor on Norwich Council for 7 years, is holding a London book launch of his latest book, on Sunday May 19th from 2.00 to 6.00pm. The book is called ‘THE CLIMATE MAJORITY PROJECT’, and was co-edited and co-authored with Rosie Bell and Liam Kavanagh. At 4pm there will be a short talk from one of the other contributors to the book, and a chance to ask questions about the book and about the Climate Majority Project itself. If you would like to attend please RSVP to steering@ealingtransition.org for more details.
All of Rupert Read’s recent books, including Parents for a Future and Deep Adaptation and others, will be available for purchase (cut price, in the case of most of the older books), and can be signed to order! Please bring some cash with you for the books etc if possible, though other forms of payment will be possible.
This event is co-hosted by Ealing Transition and representatives from Ealing Transition will be there to talk about their current projects in Ealing at the moment. Join us for good conversation, light refreshments, and a focus on positive steps we can take to address the climate crisis.
