WILDING – Movie Screening, 13th June 2024 at ActOne Cinema, Acton and Ealing Picture House

Join us during Great Big Green week for a screening of Wilding, a film telling the story of the Knepp Estate‘s transformation from a typical British farm into a celebration of rewilding and regenerative farming. The film is based on Isabella Tree’s best-selling book by the same title.

Wilding tells the story of a young couple that bets on nature for the future of their failing, four-hundred-year-old estate. The pair battle entrenched tradition as they rip down fences and set the land back to its natural state, entrusting its recovery to a motley mix of animals both tame and wild. It is the beginning of a grand experiment that will become one of the most significant rewilding projects in Europe“. Passion Pictures.

Members of Ealing Transition will be attending the film screening and will be available for conversation afterwards. Please contact the cinemas directly to purchase a ticket to see the film, The film is showing a day earlier than its general release date as a Big Green Week preview : showing at ActOne Cinema Acton at 6.30pm (booking here) and Ealing Picture House at 8.30pm (booking here).

You might also feel inspired to create your own rewilding project, or support us with our Community Orchard in the Lammas Park enclosure.
